Dr. Hua is an Assistant Professor of Medical Ethics and Health Policy at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. Her research aims to prevent diet-related chronic conditions by identifying and evaluating strategies to promote a healthier food environment in an equitable manner. Her work tests innovative behavioral science interventions in the restaurant setting and evaluates the impact of health policies such as beverage taxes. Dr. Hua received her BS in Psychology and MPH in Social and Behavioral Sciences from Yale University and her PhD in Population Health Sciences from the Harvard Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.
