I’m a Registered Dietitian and Staff Scientist at Kaiser Permanente Northern California, where I explore how where we live—and how we manage health during pregnancy—can shape obesity risk in the next generation. My research brings together social and environmental factors, gestational diabetes, and childhood growth and obesity, all through a life course lens. I’m currently in the K99 phase of my K99/R00 Pathway to Independence Award from NICHD. I also serve on several committees in ASN, which has come to feel like a second academic home.
