Dr. Robin Alvin Wilson is a Research Associate at the Jean Mayer USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging at Tufts University, with a strong research background in obesity and metabolism. He earned his PhD in Biomedicine from Victoria University, Australia where he investigated molecular adaptations to lifestyle interventions (intermittent fasting and exercise) in obese mouse models. His postdoctoral research at NYU investigated the pharmacological inhibition of RAGE signaling in metabolic disease. Currently, he is investigating the role of myeloid-specific ACSL4 in diet induced obesity, a previously unexplored area.
