In this engaging session, we will hear from two exciting projects funded by the National Institutes of Aging. These investigators recently completed planning projects in either younger or older adults to inform the design of 5-year randomized nutrition intervention trials with the goal of studying their benefits to human aging. We will hear about the findings from these projects as well as the chosen nutrition strategy(ies) and why, target participants, safety considerations, the use of technology to bolster adherence, and the chosen outcomes.
