Graduate Research Assistant
University of Rhode Island
Medford, Massachusetts, United States
I am a PhD Candidate in the College of Health Sciences at the University of Rhode Island, graduating in May 2025. My dissertation focuses on the relationship between ultra-processed food intake, diet quality, and eating behaviors in young adults. My projects include epidemiological analysis of a large dataset including over 900 college students, a randomized crossover trial, and a mixed-methods survey study. Before pursuing my PhD I worked in the fitness sector and have a decade of experience in health promotion and education, operational and strategic planning, resource development, and communication. There, I focused on health and physical activity promotion, qualitative and quantitative research, health programming, health equity, and disability inclusion in the fitness sector.
