Dr. Abigail Navarro, RD, MSc, PhD, IBCLC, is a registered dietitian, epidemiologist, and international board-certified lactation consultant. She serves as a lecturer at the Department of Nutrition Sciences at Ariel University and is the Principal Investigator of the SEED Laboratory—Support for Early Eating Development and Lactation. Dr. Navarro’s research focuses on nutrition during the first 1,000 days of life and has a particular interest in how meal presentation and dietary intake impact the immediate and long-term health of mothers and children. Her interdisciplinary work spans breastfeeding support, human milk composition, and strategies to promote healthy feeding behaviors in early life. Through the SEED Lab, she leads innovative studies that integrate clinical nutrition, sensory science, and public health to shape evidence-based practices. Driven by a passion to empower families and elevate early-life nutrition, Dr. Navarro is also deeply committed to mentoring students and advancing maternal and child health through academic excellence and community impact.
