Bonnie Patchen, Ph.D., R.D., is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Channing Division of Network medicine in the Department of Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She completed her Ph.D. and early post-doctoral training in Human Nutrition at Cornell University under the mentorship of Dr. Patricia Cassano, with a focus on nutrients with anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory properties and lung health. During her doctoral training, she also completed the dietetic internship to become a registered dietitian. She currently works with Dr. Dawn DeMeo on research leveraging multi-omic and network medicine methodologies to study the intersections of nutrition, omics and environmental exposures in the context of chronic lung disease.
