Masako Horino is a Public Health Research Specialist at UNRWA Health Department, leading the antenatal Multiple Micronutrient Supplementation Implementation Research in Jordan. She is a Registered Dietitian with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics in the US. She worked as a clinical dietitian for over a decade, and then for the US government to implement and evaluate public health programs to prevent dietary-related chronic disease among vulnerable populations. She received a Master of Public Health from UCLA and and a Doctor in Public Health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health focused on implementation research, nutrition, epidemiology, and biostatistics.
