I am a fourth-year Ph.D. student now and work on metabolomics using LC-MS. I have done metabolome projects on both human, including Autism patients, infants, and animals, including pig, cow, chicken, mice, and fish. I explored the targeted metabolome, including the quantification of amino acids, fatty acids, bile acids, triglycerides, and phospholipids, and some microbial metabolites, and also the untargeted metabolome through multivariate modeling. I am currently working on the microbial metabolites of aromatic amino acids, especially p-cresol, exploring the dynamic change in organisms and the interaction with external factors, and trying to figure out the influence on health and the environment.
