Taylor Judkins is currently a Nutritional Sciences doctoral candidate at the University of Florida in Dr. Bobbi Langkamp-Henken’s lab. She began working with Dr. Langkamp-Henken in 2014 as an undergraduate nutritional sciences student. She earned her bachelor’s degree in 2018 and complete a University Scholars thesis project characterizing gastrointestinal symptoms during the menstrual cycle in healthy adult women on oral contraceptives. Taylor earned her master’s degree at The University of Florida in Food Science and Human Nutrition in 2020. Her thesis research aimed to use a probiotic supplement to maintain intestinal permeability status after an aspirin challenge. Taylor recently has become a PhD candidate where her dissertation research focuses on using a probiotic supplement to decrease gastrointestinal symptoms due to menstruation in healthy women.
