Rong Fan is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Nutrition at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Her primary research interest centers on investigating dietary and therapeutic strategies to enhance energy expenditure and address obesity and its related metabolic complications. Rong's dissertation examines the effects of fish oil supplementation and heat treatment on post-menopausal obesity and metabolic health.
