Kristen Sutton, PhD is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Biomedical Informatics at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Kristen received her PhD in Nutritional Biology from the University of California Davis where she studied the relationships between diet, sex, and genetics on metabolites linked to atherosclerosis. Kristen's current research uses statistical genetic approaches to understand inter-individual variation to dietary intake and physical activity levels on health. Kristen aspires to be an independent researcher furthering personalized health initiatives by applying her skills in bioinformatics, genetics, nutrition and exercise science.
