Mariane de Oliveira, PhD, is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Boston College School of Social Work, where she works with the Fathers & Families Study. Her research focuses on the role of fathers in shaping their children’s health behaviors, including diet, physical activity, and sleep. She is especially interested in BMI trajectories and how the transition to fatherhood may influence these patterns over time.
