Minakshi Raj is an assistant professor in the College of Applied Health Sciences at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. Dr. Raj completed her Masters in Public Health in Health Behavior and Health Education and her PhD in Health Services Organization and Policy at the University of Michigan. Her research, at the intersection of these disciplines, seeks to bridge patient, caregiver, and clinician perspectives in order to understand how to improve the quality of care, especially for those who are culturally diverse. She focuses on understanding how health care organization and health policies can better support older adults and family caregivers, and in particular, in the context of nutrition services.
