Katrina Schroeder Smith RD, LDN is a Clinical Nutrition Specialist in the Adolescent/Young Adult Medicine clinic at Boston Children's Hospital and is the Co-Director of Nutrition Training for the LEAH fellowship. Her areas of expertise include weight inclusive nutrition counseling, eating disorders, body image, PCOS, and HIV nutrition. She completed her dietetic internship at Simmons University before training as a nutrition fellow in the LEAH program at Boston Children’s Hospital. Her primary clinical responsibilities include the STEP healthy lifestyle clinic and the HAPPENS (HIV) program. In addition to her clinical work, she is responsible for writing and editing nutrition-focused health guides and blogs for the Center for Young Women’s Health and teaching motivational interviewing to interdisciplinary fellows. Katrina is the co-author of several book chapters on adolescent nutrition and is the co-author of Medical Terminology for Health Professionals, 9th Edition.
