Md Najmol Hoque is a Ph.D. student in Cereal Science at North Dakota State University (NDSU), working under the guidance of Dr. Shahidul Islam. His research focuses on the impact of nitrogen management on the biochemical and functional properties of Hard Red Spring Wheat. In addition to studying protein and starch dynamics, Najmol is also actively engaged in research on food antioxidants, particularly the influence of agronomic practices on enhancing the antioxidant potential of cereal grains. He is passionate about linking grain quality improvement with nutritional enhancement. Najmol currently holds multiple leadership roles, serving as President of the NDSU Cricket Club and Vice-President of the Cereals & GrainsStudent Association and so on. His long-term goal is to bridge agricultural innovation, food chemistry, and human health by contributing to both academic research and industry-driven advancements in cereal science and food quality.
