PhD candidate and research assistant in the United Arab Emirates (UAEU), Department of Nutrition & Health. She got her bachelor’s degree in clinical nutrition & Dietetics from the University of Sharjah (UOS). She got a clinical dietitian license from Dubai Health Authority and worked at the Canadian Hospital-Dubai. She came back to her mother University (UOS) to get a master’s degree in medical education from the College of Medicine. Simultaneously, she worked as a clinical tutor and research assistant in the Department of Clinical Nutrition at UOS. She published her project: The effectiveness of introducing integrated case-based learning in clinical nutrition practice (Abu Farha, R. J., Zein, M. H., & Al Kawas, S. (2021). Introducing integrated case-based learning to clinical nutrition training and evaluating students’ learning performance. Currently she is interested in the field of fasting and breast cancer survivors, and working on in as a part of her PhD project. Her research protocol will be presented as a poster in the ASN conference.
