Mr. Gul Nawaz Khan is working as an Assistant Professor Researcher with over 25 years of extensive experience, specializing in reproductive, maternal, newborn, and child health and child nutrition. He holds a Master of Public Health and a Master of Sociology, reflecting his interdisciplinary approach to addressing complex public health and social challenges.
Mr. Khan has demonstrated a strong commitment to evidence-based research and policy advocacy. He has served as Co-Principal Investigator on multiple major studies, notably contributing to the evidence base that informed the launch of Pakistan’s National Nashonuma Program. His leadership in securing competitive research grants and delivering impactful studies underscores his expertise in grant writing, research design, and implementation.
Mr. Khan is an author with over 25 peer-reviewed publications, primarily as first author, and has produced more than 40 comprehensive research reports for national and international funding agencies. His research has been recognized internationally, earning him five fully funded scholarships to present at prestigious global conferences.
In addition to his scholarly achievements, Mr. Khan is deeply invested in continuous professional development. He has participated in numerous national and international trainings in areas such as scientific writing, research methodologies, data management and analysis, monitoring and evaluation, and grant writing.
