Researcher
UFES, Brazil
I hold a Master’s degree in Public Health and a PhD in Health Sciences. I am currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Health and Nutrition Program at the Federal University of Espírito Santo, Brazil. My research focuses on mixed-methods studies, aiming to gain holistic insights into patients who have undergone Roux-en-Y gastric bypass (RYGB) surgery. I collect and analyze anthropometric and biochemical data to assess the quantitative evolution of clinical outcomes, while also applying qualitative and multimethod approaches to explore patients’ experiences and perspectives in a comprehensive manner.
I am interested in sharing experiences and ideas with researchers in the same field and exploring opportunities to develop multicentric research collaborations that broaden the scope and impact of this work.
