I am an accomplished scientist with expertise in biochemistry and nutritional sciences, holding two PhDs in these fields. I am currently pursuing my PhD in Nutritional Sciences at Oklahoma State University under the mentorship of Dr. Edralin Lucas, focusing my research on the effects of dietary phytochemicals like curcumin and phytoestrogens on metabolic health and gut health in aging. With over 30 peer-reviewed publications and 640 citations, my work spans cancer research, diabetes, nanotechnology, drug delivery, and cheminformatics, including highly cited reviews on saponin and capsaicin. I also serve as the Editor-in-Chief of AROC in Food and Nutrition and hold leadership roles as the Liaison Officer for the International Student Organization, Graduate Student Ambassador, and Treasurer for the Graduate Nutritional Society Club.
