Graduate Research Assistant
University of Idaho
After graduating with a B.S. in chemical engineering, I spent 11 years working in analytical chemistry at Alturas Analytics in Moscow, Idaho. I developed and validated small molecule LC-MS/MS assays, and conducted sample analysis using those assays. For 7 of those years I fulfilled the role of Senior Scientist/Principal Investigator for the bioanalytical phase of preclinical (GLP) and clinical trials that required regulated small-molecule LC-MS/MS bioanalysis. I left Alturas in 2024 to pursue a PhD in Bioinformatics and Computational at the University of Idaho. I am interested in applying multivariate statistics and multi-omics techniques to the study of human milk fatty acids and associations with milk and infant microbiomes.
