Safianu Osman Aleboko, RD, is a Graduate Research Assistant and Master’s student in Nutritional Sciences at Oklahoma State University. His research centers on school nutrition policy, with a focus on evaluating and enhancing the implementation of school feeding programs in Ghana using insights from U.S. models. Safianu has co-authored multiple peer-reviewed publications on maternal and adolescent nutrition, and dietary patterns in vulnerable populations. He is a recipient of the 2025 Gordon Carlson Graduate Scholarship in Nutritional Sciences, and was a second-place winner in the Department of Nutritional Sciences 3-Minute Thesis Competition at Oklahoma State University in 2024. In addition to research, he is passionate about science communication and has spoken on nutrition-related topics across academic, clinical, and media platforms in Ghana and the U.S.
