Carmen Prestemon is a second year doctoral student in Nutritional Epidemiology at the UNC Chapel Hill Gillings School of Global Public Health. She studies food and nutrition policies that promote healthy and sustainable diets. Prior to beginning the doctoral program, Carmen graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health Nutrition from UNC Gillings and worked as a Project Manager for the Global Food Research Program at UNC Chapel Hill.
