Robin McKinnon is the Acting Director for Nutrition Center of Excellence in the Human Foods Program (HFP) at FDA. The Nutrition Center of Excellence elevates and empowers action on nutrition science, policy, and initiatives to help reduce the burden of diet-related chronic diseases and ensure the nutritional adequacy and safety of infant formula. Prior to joining FDA, Dr. McKinnon was at the National Cancer Institute (NCI), National Institutes of Health where she led policy-relevant research activities on diet, obesity and physical activity. Dr. McKinnon has a Ph.D. in Public Policy and Administration from the George Washington University and a Master in Public Administration from Harvard University.
