Yunhee Chang is a Professor of Nutrition and Hospitality Management at the University of Mississippi, where she also serves as the program coordinator for the Interdisciplinary Graduate Minor in Applied Statistics. As a nutrition economist, she primarily investigates the impact of programs on nutritional outcomes in the U.S., particularly how financial access affects diet, health, and food insecurity. Her research covers various nutritional behaviors and conditions, including participation in food assistance programs, healthy eating, obesity, cardiovascular health, and cancer. Much of this work relies on combining large-scale surveys and clinical observations with policy data to evaluate the population-level effects of major health policy drivers.
