Dr. Marlou Lasschuijt is an Assistant Professor in the Sensory Science and Eating Behavior group at Wageningen University & Research (The Netherlands). With a background in clinical dietetics and a PhD focused on sensory-physiological mechanisms of satiation, her work bridges nutrition, sensory science, and eating behavior. Her research explores how sensory experiences, food texture, and early-life feeding shape eating behavior and dietary intake. She is passionate about translating behavioral nutrition science into meaningful applications for health.
