Dr. Gina Tripicchio is an Associate Professor in the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences in the College of Public Health at Temple University. She received her PhD in Nutrition from the Gillings School of Global Public Health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. As a behavioral nutritionist and public health researcher, Dr. Tripicchio's work focuses on developing and testing innovative interventions to improve eating behaviors and reduce diet-related chronic diseases in pediatric populations. Her current NIH-funded research focuses on characterizing and reducing added sugar intake in adolescents and testing novel methodologies, including ecological momentary assessment and stable isotope ratios, to improve dietary assessment in behavioral studies.
