Chien-Yeh hsu, PhD is a Fellow of the International Academy of Health Sciences Informatics (IAHSI), Distinguished Professor and the Past-Chairman of the Department of Information Management, National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Sciences. He is also the Past-President of APAMI, Asia-Pacific Association for Medical Informatics from 2023 to 2024. He was the former President of Taiwan Association for Medical Informatics, the Director of Taiwan: Standard and Interoperability Lab - Smart Healthcare center of Excellent Taiwan, SIL-Asia, Asia eHealth Information Network (AeHIN), a member of Governing Council of HIMSS Asia Pacific, and former President of Taiwan eHealth Association. He has been a former Director of Graduate Institute of Medical Informatics at Taipei Medical University, and a past editor-in-chief of The Journal of Taiwan Association for Medical Informatics.
Prof. Hsu’s research interests include electronic medical/health record, clinical/hospital information system, medical information standards, biomedical data sharing/processing/analysis, e-health/cloud computing infrastructure, big biomedical/health database and biomedical signal processing. He has been working on various topics of medical informatics for more than twenty-five years and has published more than 100 articles in medical informatics.
