Dr. Abdullah Khan's research focuses on maternal and child nutrition, maternal mental health, chronic disease prevention, and health systems strengthening. His doctoral work at the University of South Carolina explored perinatal depression and maternal hemoglobin dynamics in rural Uttar Pradesh, India. He has published a number of peer-reviewed publications on maternal health disparities and the use of nutrition data for program evaluation. He has also contributed to global and national efforts to improve evidence-based decision-making in nutrition programs. Dr. Khan's work bridges research, policy, and practice to inform interventions that are equitable, scalable, and culturally responsive.
