Research Assistant
University of South Carolina
With more than 15 years of experience in biological and epidemiological research, I have built a career focused on solving real-world health challenges. My work dives deep into the root causes of disease, especially the social and environmental factors that affect how people live and stay healthy. I specialize in the study of SDOH, with a strong focus on diabetes, chronic diseases, and nutritional epidemiology.
Over the years, I’ve led research projects that combine rigorous data collection with sharp analysis and clear storytelling. My goal is always the same: to turn complex data into practical insights that improve public health. From disease diagnosis to large-scale community health studies, my work aims to inform better policies and create lasting impact.
I’m driven by a passion for uncovering how lifestyle, access, and inequality shape chronic diseases, and by a commitment to developing solutions that are both effective and equitable. Whether in the lab, out in the field, or presenting to decision-makers, I bring science to life in ways that truly matter.
