Postdoctoral Researcher
Pennsylvania State University
I am a postdoctoral researcher at Penn State University. Before joining Bisanz Lab in January 2022, I earned my bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Engineering from Zhejiang University in 2017 and PhD in Nutritional Sciences from Iowa State University in 2021. My research interest focuses on the interaction between diet and gut microbes with expertise in both bioinformatic and laboratory analyses. One of my research projects focuses on caloric restriction and its impact on C. difficile infection, which was selected for the President’s Oral Session last year. This year, I am excited to share our latest work exploring how gut microbes shape the fate of dietary pollutants. I will be on the job market in the summer of 2026 and open to both industry and academic opportunities.
