Anna Kate Hamann is a third-year medical student at the USF Morsani College of Medicine pursuing a Scholarly Concentration in Nutrition Research Sciences. Her research focuses on the metabolic and cardiovascular effects of natural non-nutritive sweeteners, including stevia, allulose, erythritol, and xylitol. She is involved in medical student nutrition education and assists in creating curriculum to further nutrition education among students.
