Sharraf Samin is a Doctoral Candidate in the Department of Health Promotion, Education, and Behavior at the Arnold School of Public Health, University of South Carolina. Sharraf's research is focused on understanding the lived experiences of food environments and the healthiness of diets among children and adolescents in low- and middle-income countries. Sharraf has also been working with the SNAP-Ed team at the University of South Carolina to design, develop, and evaluate curricula for promoting healthy dietary practices and physical activity among different age groups in South Carolina.
