Megan Rojas is a dental surgeon and a current master’s student in the Interdisciplinary Program in Precision Public Health at Korea University. Her research focuses on the intersection of oral health, aging, and chronic disease prevention. She has a strong interest in using population-based data to explore how oral health influences physical and cognitive outcomes in older adults. At the 2025 Nutrition Conference, she is presenting her poster titled "Association Between Chewing Discomfort and Handgrip Strength in Korean Older Adults," which examines the potential link between oral function and muscle strength using data from the Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES). Her work aims to inform policies and interventions that support healthy aging through improved oral health care.
