Paola Andino is a Ph.D. student in Food Science at Purdue University, working in Dr. Lavanya Reddivari’s lab. She earned her B.S. in Food Science and Technology from Zamorano University in Honduras. Paola first joined the Reddivari Lab as a visiting scholar in 2022, where she began her research on dietary fibers. She returned to Purdue in 2023 to pursue graduate studies. Her current research focuses on evaluating the role of gut bacterial dysbiosis in fiber fermentation and tolerance.
