Michigan State University
Isaac Abraham is a senior in the Honors College at Michigan State University, majoring in Human Biology with minors in Bioethics, Global Public Health, and Epidemiology. His research centers on the intersection of fatty acid biomarkers and adolescent mental health outcomes in perinatally HIV-affected populations. He applies longitudinal and multivariable epidemiologic modeling using R and SAS to examine associations between fatty acids and BASC–3–measured mental health outcomes. Isaac’s work, under the mentorship of the Fenton Laboratory, was recognized with a First-Place award at MSU’s University Undergraduate Research and Arts Forum. Outside of research, he serves as a lead medical assistant and certified pharmacy technician, and plans to pursue a career in medicine with a focus on adolescent global health equity.
