Jenneffer completed her Bachelor’s degree and internship in Nutrition at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (Brazil) in 2016 and also holds a Master’s degree in Food Science from the same institution. She recently completed her PhD in Nutrition and Metabolism at the University of Alberta, where her research focused on the Nutrition and Immunity (NutrIMM) study, investigating immune system functionality through a panel of immune markers under controlled feeding conditions. Jenneffer currently works at the University of Alberta as a Research Coordinator and serves as a Senior Academic Officer for NNEdPro.
