Heather Milliron is an MS student in the Reddivari lab. She completed her BS in Food Science and Crop Science from Purdue University in May 2023. Her undergraduate research looked into various efficient methods of phenolic compound extraction from potato peel waste. She worked as an intern at Cargill, improving flavor replacement and shelf-life of alternative protein products. She joined Dr. Reddivari’s lab in August 2023 as an MS student. Her current research is to understand the effect of various combinations of plant extracts against inflammation.
