Graduate Student
Colorado State University
I am a PhD candidate at Colorado State University interested in the nexus of agriculture and human health. I work in both controlled environment agriculture and human clinical trials centered on chronic disease prevention and gut health. I am a jack of all trades and certainly a master of none. I love mentoring undergrads and master's students, speaking about science, automated data analysis pipelines, juicy adjectives, an r-squared = 1 in my standard curves, and the podcast Ologies. In my undergrad, I worked at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography researching harmful algal blooms and in the UC San Diego Department of Orthopaedic Surgery studying type 2 diabetes and skeletal muscle. In my free time, I volunteer on a farm that grows fresh produce for local food pantries.
