Jillian Weathington is a Master of Science student in the Health Promotion and Behavior Science program through the Department of Health Sciences at the University of Central Florida, where she conducts research and serves as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. She is currently presenting research examining the relationship between diet quality and academic performence in college-aged students, a project she helped shape from concept through data analysis and manuscript development. In this role, she also oversaw a team of undergraduate researchers through each phase of the study. Her current work with her Master's thesis focuses on diet quality among caregivers of minor-aged children, with a particular emphasis on the experiences of navigating caregiver stress and demands.
