Hailu Hailemariam Reda is a dedicated PhD student at HU and OSU, specializing in nutrition and early childhood development (ECD). With over 15 years of experience in academia, healthcare, and international NGOs, he has built a strong foundation in nursing education, clinical practice, and public health. As an active researcher, Hailu is deeply involved in community engagement initiatives focused on improving maternal and child nutrition. His work bridges research and practical interventions to address critical nutritional challenges in vulnerable populations.
Hailu has conducted numerous impactful studies, including evaluations of nutrition assessment tools, peer-led education interventions, and investigations into micronutrient deficiencies. His research spans diverse topics such as zinc deficiency in pregnant women, dietary patterns among hospitalized children, and the nutritional benefits of traditional foods like *Hibiscus sabdariffa* and *Ensete ventricosum*.
